Why glow filament needs a lamp
The Glow Moon does not make its own light. It borrows it. A short note on how, and how to charge it.

Glow-in-the-dark filament is ordinary PLA with a fine mineral powder mixed through it, usually strontium aluminate. The powder soaks up light and lets it out again slowly, as a soft green glow.
It does not glow forever and it does not glow on its own. It needs charging, the way a phone does.
To charge it
A few minutes under a desk lamp or near a bright window is enough. Daylight and white LED light work best. A warm yellow bulb works too, only more slowly.
After that it glows brightly for a few minutes, then settles into a faint glow that lasts close to an hour. In a fully dark room it can still be seen much later than that.
A note on colour
In daylight the Glow Moon is a pale cream with a hint of green. Under the lamp at night it looks almost white. Only when the lights go off does it turn green.
